The Ultimate Organic Antibacterial Socks Launches on Kickstarter
Seoul, South Korea –On May 7th 2019, The Socks no.1513 launched a crowdfunding campaign to fund the production of their latest socks made with organic cotton and copper.
Created by minimizing chemical processes, The Socks no.1513 helps to treat feet by using “Copper(CU)”, the only metal that can remove up to 99.9% of the bacteria in sock fibers.
Founder James Lee was inspired to create a new range of socks that treated feet better, keeping them pleasant but clean. “Back in 2010, a Chilean mine collapsed and 33 miners were trapped. The miners were rescued and recovered, except for their feet which developed fungal diseases” said Mr Lee.
“Antifungal medication didn’t work, until they treated their feet with socks containing copper. So we created our own version of copper socks which also have the function of deodorant effects, heat retention, electromagnetic shielding, and have an antistatic effect”.
Designed to stop the growth of bacteria and Athlete’s Foot, The Socks no.1513 destroys the cell structure of microorganisms and suppresses the propagation of bacteria. The socks are made from 70% organic cotton, 18% copper fiber, 10% polyester and 2% Spandex for stretch. Available in sizes US 7.5 – 11, UK 7 – 10.5 and EU 40.5 – 44.
