The first personal photo book of Yilong Zhu (Depart) – The presale of this satisfying work broke lots of records
Recently, the first personal photo album of Yilong Zhu (Depart, presented by Mingbox) was released. This photo album was shot in Sydney, Australia, which was invited by Destination New South Wales, Australia. Thus, we witnessed a smooth shooting at 11 locations, including Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Royal Botanic Gardens, Paddington Reservoir Gardens, Port Stephens, La Perouse and Darling Harbour. The shooting of this first photo book was a brand new attempt and experience for Yilong Zhu. There were more than 150 HD pictures in the whole book. Thanks to the recording of photographer’s camera, his different images in this travel were veritably demonstrated.
According to the report, the photos were shot in autumn. In the photos that have been publicly disseminated, Mr Zhu freely switched himself in different styles and postures. He perfectly offered several guidance of males’ outfits in autumn. Whether it was the casualness and freedom presented by a clean white T-shirt, or the gentleness and self-cultivation shown by a British-style coat, all the characteristics reflected by different outfits brilliantly demonstrated his extraordinary and unique demeanor as an urban gentleman. He was both relaxed and unstrained in these photos, and they were totally different from any other characters in his previous television works, which were really anticipated.
The concept of this book was “departure”, which meant “every step of the way is a new starting point”. As an actor, Mr Zhu made adjustments in this relaxing trip, and treated his new start with a sincere attitude. In these photos, he revealed his purest and the most natural image to us. This photo book of Zhu was presented by Mingbox. As a professional organization, which was focused on the production and distribution of publications about stars, Mingbox have cooperated with several famous actors for many times. According to the report, in the process of this release, 5% of earnings of every book would be donated to “Project Hope Physical Training Playground” of Youth Development Foundation, in order to help the public and to spread love and hope.
The limited presale of 150,000 copies of Depart were completely sold out at once, which broke lots of records. The advertisements of this photo album have issued in Times Square in New York and Central Station in Sydney. Besides, Depart will be launched at global bookstore chains (such as Kinokuniya) by the end of February.
