They explored the benefits associated with cart delivery, provided insights into variations in cart delivery and cart types, and explained the first steps needed to move towards cart delivery, fork truck free environments, and lean manufacturing.
There is a fluid relationship that fork truck free cart delivery has with other trending material handling movements. Topper recognizes how incorporating cart delivery into manufacturer’s material handling processes promotes the ideals of lean manufacturing. Lean manufacturing is a systematic method for waste minimization within a manufacturing system without sacrificing productivity. It is a goal of continuous improvement.
